Would you like to learn from an interior designer how give a professional polish to the interior of your own home?

In 10 weekly classes, held in her own home in Monkstown, Co. Dublin, with a maximum of 6 students, Jane Reddy will teach you the tricks of the trade.

Subjects covered will include:

  • Making floor plans with placement of furniture.
  • Learning about window treatments: Types of fabric, measuring up.
  • Furniture: styles, upholstery fabrics.
  • Floor finishes, wood, tiles, carpet,
  • Learn how to design your own rug and have it custom made.
  • Learn about Wall finishes including fabric and sea grass wallcoverings, suede effect paints.
  • Learn how to stencil.
  • Learn how to use lighting to creat the mood you want in each room.
  • Learn how to put your ideas together by making mood boards and sample boards

Due to the small classes and intimate nature of the venue, students can expect lots of personal attention and a very relaxed sociable atmosphere.
